I spent the first ten years of my life as a mild fan in Canada; then the next ten in a place that doesn't know what hockey is. Now I live a few hours from the Washington Capitals and have been following the team. This blog is a journal of my trip back in to the world of hockey--understanding post-lockout rules, general rules I was too young to understand when I did watch, and picking up where my early schooling left off.
